Better late than never

We are officially in the last month of what can be said to be the world’s most loved season – SPRING. There were many beauty trends this year that took over this season, from yellow eyeshadow looks that were bold and definitely beautiful, to the “no make-up, make-up” looks. If you have not hopped on any of these trends, you have a few weeks left to do the most, GO AHEAD.

For the last month of the season, there are certainly some beauty tips to take note of while transitioning into summer next month. Firstly, make sure to have a highlighter kit with you at all times. While ‘sun’s out, guns out’ applies to the boys, ladies, we have to be sure to kill the side look with a highlight so strong, it could blind anyone who dares to look twice. Oh, and please do not be shy. We are done with sticking to a highlighter that goes with our “specific skin tone” – shake things up and go for a violet, pink or even silver highlighter, it looks AMAZING.

Next, make sure you switch your foundation from thick full coverage, to light and sheer if you have not done so already. Light-wearing foundation in seasons such as spring and especially summer really helps to give the skin that extra glow it needs. Brands such as NYX, NARS and ESSENCE really has great light sheer foundations to help you out during these glowing times.

Another trend that could save you a lot of time while still killing the game is the brushed eyebrow. Normally, everyone is so obsessed with figuring out how to get the perfect “Instagram brow”, but this spring, beauty guru’s shook things up and presented us with the brushed messy eyebrow look – you must have seen it around! All you need is a spoolie/clean mascara-wand and some eyebrow wax. Brush your eyebrow hair in an upward direction while following the arch of your eyebrow as well. It takes less than half of the time to nail an Instagram brow look and looks just as great!


Lastly, flushed cheeks are your next go-to. It is the perfect contour final touch for the vibrant atmosphere that comes with spring. Use a soft-pink blush on the apples of your cheeks, and do not forget to complete the look with your bomb but blinding highlighter.
